FDNY Teams Up With Ronald McDonald House for Miracle on 73rd Street Event

Firefighters and Officers to surprise children suffering from serious illnesses with visit from Santa, gifts
The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) is teaming up with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the Ronald McDonald House New York to bring the Christmas spirit to children fighting pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses. On Wednesday, December 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the Ronald McDonald House, FDNY firefighters from Engine Company 44 and Ladder Company 13, and NYPD officers from the 19th Precinct will bring Santa and hundreds of gifts for a true Miracle on 73rd Street.
Following Christmas Carols, members of Engine 44 and Ladder 13 will arrive with Santa, who will be raised to each child's window before joining families on the sidewalk for photos and gifts. NYPD officers and firefighters will also deliver gifts for the children to open on Christmas Day.
