On Tuesday, December 20th, Ronald McDonald House New York hosted a holiday musical extravaganza for all of the children and families currently seeking treatment at New York City Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx.
The event featured a live band that serenaded the children with their most beloved holiday songs along with other holiday-themed events to get everyone into the spirit of the season
Tuesday afternoon's event featured RMH-NY's hospitality cart. The cart provided healthy treats, snacks and personal care items to patients and their loved ones. This is an effort to bring programs from inside Ronald McDonald House New York to patients and families in partnering hospitals across the five boroughs of NYC.
New York City Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is a partnering hospital with Ronald McDonald House New York. Together, they will bring RMH-NY's hospitality cart to current pediatric patients and their families at Jacobi Hospital in an effort to keep families closer together in their time of need.
"We've been partnering with Jacobi Hospital for 1 ½ years," said Muniba Ahmed, a representative from Ronald McDonald House New York. "This is kind of one of the ways that Ronald McDonald House New York is reaching its hand out to the New York City community, and bringing our programs to children and families."
